Lista de Bandas Black Metal Khold Hundre År Gammal

This is the 5th release by this Norwegian black metal quartet. Hundre Ar Gammal means hundred years old in Norwegian. All of the songs are in Norwegian. They took a 3 year break between this album and their previous album. They usually record their albums in Norway, but this one was recorded in Sweden. It has a relentless and uncompromisingly hateful attitude. The songs are paced at mid tempo. The vocals are comparable to that of Satyr (Satyricon) with some growling that is similar to that in Shagrath's(Dimmu Borgir) vocals. Gard's wife is a novelist and poet. She wrote most of the lyrics for this album. The bass plays with a thick sound. There isn't much distortion on the guitars. The drum play isn't very remarkable. On the surface, the music sounds similar to Darkthrone or Satyricon, but much of the music has a punk structure. There are several punk-like hooks, resembling Bleeding Kansas. They sound real good, especially on songs like Trolos or Hundre Ar Gammal. The song Kor reminds me of Celtic Frost. Most of the songs are very rhythmic. My favorite song on this album is Hundre Ar Gammal, I've heard it 38 times on my I-Pod, so far.
