Can you present us the band?
I joined the band in 1998. In fact, it is the other members who contacted me. They came to me right after having seeing me singing onstage. They were practicing a quite traditional metal sounding like Metallica or Iron Maiden but they looked serious to me so we made a test together. Four months later we made our first live performance together and it went really well. People literally came to us after the concert to have our demo. So, we started selling it and as a consequence our first album is in fact more a big demo than a real album. For us, our second album is in fact our first real one. He was recorded with the help of Jason Slater (Snake Rive Conspiracy). We followed by big tours with Clawfinger and with the festival of Montreux where we played with Korn. This experience allowed us to do the first part of Manson in Bale (Swiss). It was quite funny in fact because we received an email asking us if we could be interesting doing the first part of Manson and it was paid. We couldnt believe it. After that, we made the European tour with Korn and now we are recor

ding our third album with Dominique Favez of Krokus. But the most amazing is that we sent our CD for mixing at Jay Baumgardner (Evanescence, Korn
) and he accepted the job for a modest payment. So, thats our story in short.
How was the writing and the recording of your last album?
Its quite simple in fact. We write all together but without making any real jam. We start with riffs or with ideas that each one finds and we build our music from there. As far as the recording is concerned, we had to take a studio for the drums and the voice. But thats really the first time we are so please of our work. Especially me, I usually find things to say against the way I sing, but this time I like it.
Can you describe what the Spirit Of Metal represents to you?
Its an impression of freedom. I feel that metal maniacs are quite open-minded. Look at what just occurred with that kid in Finland who killed people, its the opposite of the spirit of metal. People should stop thinking of us that way

color="#CCCCCC">What are your favorite bands?
Ive started with Kiss but I also love NIN, Korn, Mike Patton, Faith No More, the old Manson but I also listen to 30 Seconds To Mars or Tori Amos. Its quite diversified.
How do you feel doing so many important concerts?
Everything is easy when we think about that idea: « We are all going to shit ». Jokes apart, we are often scared before going onstage because its not always easy to play in front of 15000 or 20000 persons screaming your name. Concerning our relationships with our colleagues for example, we dont talk about it and they dont know that we have done a big concert before a few days have past. But we have normal lives. We have to remain modest; its the most important for us.

Try to listen to our album on MySpace. The only thing we want to do is playing, thats all. We loved our concert at la Boule Noire, even if there werent many people. We are also very happy that our album arrives in France. Thanks!!!!
