South Italy got Balls! A great meltin pot of Bay Area Thrash,Nu and Core !

The charge released by the Opener My Purifyng Day is not indifferent, especially for an emerging band like Jumpscare, sharp riffs alternately switch to a cant almost wholly screamed. The band's sound is a clear array of bay area thrash (Skinlab,Machine Head), especially with regard to the very first Metallica (Kill'em all era) and some of Soulfy/Sepultura vibe, ; Lorenzo Gallo's lazy and slightly "clogged" voice remembers that of the first Hetfield and Mark Osegueda of the Death Angel, but the influence of Jesse Leach of the Killswitch Engage on Lorenzo's canon style is not to be underestimated. The tracks do not follow a predefined scheme and this goes in favor of their originality, guitarwork is always well reasoned and rarely falls into the already heard. The Jumpscare are well suited to melt the aggression and melody, in The Climb surprise a positive, unpopular voice in a clean voice that perfectly captures the attention of the listener without falling into shameless commercial sound. Sowing Storms is the most engaging track of the lot, thanks to Lorenzo Gallo's vocal performance, which does not slip in aggression and screams with all his strengths a much-felted text. Vincenzo Mussolino and Andrea Di Martino on guitars create a succession of very entertaining riffs that leave the listener with the desire to have much more to hear and maybe see the live band
