The REAL album that started it all, Slipknot's demo album 'Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat.', with the old line-up featuring former vocalist Anders Colsefini. Released in 1996 by Pale One Music.

MFKR (Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat.) showed a lot of experimentation with it's music, I'd like to point 'Do Nothing/Bitchslap', this track had a variety of genres including funk, blues, jazz as well as the main genre metal. Unlike the future releases (with Corey Taylor), it had a very unique sound and feel, these songs were based on Werewolf: The Apocalypse.

Though sadly, as I always stick to this quote

'There's a downside to everything...'

So I did look out for the negative properties. As a die hard metal fan, I expected some heavier elements, similar to Andy's new death metal/heavy metal project 'Painface'. The sampling work and quality was poor, this was most likely to Craigs absence in the group.

Overall, as a rating out of 10, I would give it an 8, the experimental levels were EXTREME which is one of the things I like in music. This is recommended for anyone that likes experimental music! Unfortunately, only 1000 copies were ever made, anyhow, hope you get to listen!
