| Enigmatick says : Er...just because a lot of metal musicians like BMTH doesn't make it any more metal. And I'm not going to stop thinking a genre is "gay" (though I wouldn't use that term) just because they like it, either, because holy shit I actually listen to the fucking music myself and Decide whether I like it or not!!!!1!1! Meh. I could spew more Venom, but it's not gonna change much. You're still going to cover your ears and shout the same strawmans you've been going on about the whole time. Plus, judging by the reactions, evidently everybody gets all freaked out when two people get in a disagreement. Meh, gotta get used to this place, I guess. PS: Getting academic excellence is about as easy as winning a distance pissing contest. Seriously. It's really easy. If you honestly hold that as some sort of accomplishment you're only bullshitting yourself. |

| Enigmatick says : Changing the subject, since deathcore is apparently a very eclectic and creative genre, could any of you guys recommend me a few bands that "break the mould" so to say? I would love it if you guys proved me wrong about my whole deathcore-is-stagnant-and-boring shpiel. |
| Mercenarion says : citation :
I'm not very fond of deathcore, but bands that are close enough to it that even I enjoy would be Darkest Hour, Destriers Gait, Heaven Shall Burn or Vanguard (this one may be hard to find, and it says Finland here, but that one isn't The One I'm talking about). |
