Awww man, I thought you were cool! Why'd you hafta go and wreck it with the two most CLICHED comments about metal? Just because it isn't a metal genre you like doesn't mean it isn't metal. Anything with screaming, and anything with heavy/fast drumming would qualify as metal (though I'm not saying all metal consists of this). Hate em too) look around... EVERY metal genre and sub-genre has posers. Same with rap, RnB, Rock... posers are everywhere, but that doesn't mean any one genre is 100% poserific... Take Slipknot, the biggest poser-producing metal band in
Existence (probably). As prideful as their fanbase is, I
still know Slipknot fans who aren't scene kids.
And about Moth n Moons post, I laughed at that guy from
Obituary talking about it: "I LIKE MUSIC HEAVY AS FUCK BUT WITH A GROOVE"
