these things shouldn't be based on opinon they should be based on fact.

No, man. Everyone has the right to an opinion. Still, opinions shouldn't bother you so much, especially when they're based on something as trivial as genre categorizing.

The bands that were first to have mix Hardcore with metal were Earth Crisis, Integrity and Starkweather.

Althought The Red Chord is one of the earliest Deathcore bands there were 2 main bands that paved the way for Deathcore in the 21st century. These two bands were Animosity and All Shall Perish. Both of them releasing their debut albums in 2003.

Some of the key characteristics of Deathcore and Metalcore.

open low end musicals
heavily Distorted gutairs
bass droping
Screamed and Growled Vocals. (Metalcore also has some clean vocals)
melodic riffs (Metalcore)
both melodic and disorganised riffs (deathcore)
frequent tempo changes

I think the bands that really created the explosion was Job For A Cowboy though, with the release of their 2005 EP "Doom". Otherwise, s'rather legit. Some of it looks suspiciously copy-pasted though, but that's probably just me being paranoid.

BULL FUCKING SHIT.
A lot of people like Justin Bieber, does that make his music any good?

That's all I have to say for that.

That is indeed true. But I think that BULL FUCKING HORSE SHIT would of been more powerful.

Thats just a question in taste of music. We are talking about actual genres.

The same principles are still applicable though. Nobody can really define what genre every single band should fit into, and nobody should really give a shit. Leave it at that.

Also, the "magazines" you supposedly use for reference probably don't know jack fuck about metal either, just sayin'.

Well, okay, the genralizations like calling something deathcore or thrash is sorta fact based, but you're being so friggin precise with every little categorization and genres aren't that solid or tangeable as you make them to be. What about bands that experiment and dabble in other genres? What about bands that change their genre over time?

for some bands I can understand peoples confusion but for bands like Trivium or Bullet For My Valentine it is a very solid argument that they contain Thrash Influence.

The three bands I mentioned are not very experimental and have practicaly stayed the same over their careers. I think that you are not being precise enough when you say Trivium has no Thrash Influence. How am I so precise when I say "Thrashy"?

I was referring to the percentages you made up and whatnot.
also, I didn't say I didn't think Trivium has no thrash influences. I'm just saying, it doesn't matter either way.
