Trivium DO NOT HAVE ANY THRASH IN THEIR SOUND.

AT ALL.

NONE.

if they were thrash influenced they would have SOME elements of thrash in their sound. They would still be considered Metalcore, but yeah, I guess you could say they have a faint thrash influence.

BUT THEY HAVE NONE.

GET IT?

NONE? NoNe at all...? Do you seriously think that Trivium has Zero Thrash Influence in their music. OMG I don't think I can ever explain it to everyone here. Yes I still consider the METALCORE. With Thrash Influence. Faint influence? c'mon you're just making this up now. You have no idea. This is comming from people who aren't fans of Metalcore or Deathcore.

I've probably listened to just as much metalcore/deathcore as you have. You have to realize that in order to dislike these bands, I'd have to have heard their music first. You gotta know your enemy.

Also, I'm not even going to bother trying anymore. Again, you have failed to comprehend my post. It's impossible to debate with you because you don't even begin to consider the other person's opinion, you just mindlessly spout yours without taking any previous discussion into consideration.

Idiot.

bullshit you have. Enemy? its just music dude, don't have to declare war against any kind of music. I do consider other peoples opinons but what your saying is just plain wrong, that is why I keep repeating myself. Because you wont accept the facts. Ok thats all you are just wrong. Your ignorance is astounding.

Why don't you list all of the Deathcore and Metalcore bands you have heard and I'll tell you if you have listened as much as me. (doubt it)

That was a figure of speech.

You see, you have not taken into consideration any of my opinions and attempted to challenge them with your arguments, you simply assumed that I was wrong from the start and re-stated your opinion over and over again without giving any particular reasons WHY this was how you thought or why I was wrong. Not only that, but your reading comprehension is fucking terrible and you don't really seem to understand the points that ANYbody is getting at.

Knowledge of a genre of music is not directly proportional to the amount of bands you have heard from said genre, but what you Absorbed from the music. Therefore this is pointless.

Since you seem to have such a VAST knowledge of the genre, tell me, who were some of the first bands to mix Hardcore aspects of music into metal? Which band(s) was/were responsible for the influx of deathcore bands in the 21st century? What are some of the key aspects of modern deathcore and metalcore?

Miniradman, if you consider other people's opinions, then why do you say Enigmatick is "just plain wrong"? For God's sake, you're getting riled over how much another genre is prevalent in a band's music. And you don't have to be so assertive with the 'YOU'RE WRONG' point, because this is simply Enigmatick's opinion. If someone told me they thought Burzum was thrash inspired, I'd ask them to say why, but I wouldn't go genre-nazi on their asses.

Also, I wanna just say this: every band everyone on here right now exists because the Beatles revolutionized music. No bands sound like the Beatles anymore, but the Beatles inspired them by chain-reaction. No band on here has rock n roll in themes in their music, but the Beatles did their thing. I guess the same can be said (to some extent) for thrash metal. Leave it at that.
