You were copping out because you said Metalcore is too diverse to make a judgment, therefore protecting you from having to actually say anything. You were taking the easy way out, which is, in layman's terms, a cop-out. Also, no they're not. Even if they are if has Zero effect on their sound (i.e. they don't sound thrashy at all) so there's no point in saying that. |

Are Trivium Thrash influenced, Hell fucking yeah. Have you ever been to a Trivium gig? They play loads of Thrash anthems, from Metallica to Sepultura. They grew up listening to and wanting to be them bands. |
