On Dr.Stein. they also had the big inflatable pumpkin.

That happened at the London show.

That looks like a very small venue compared to the London gig. Where's the giant rotating blades you see on the cover of the album? I suppose the stage was too small for it.

Did they play Mr. Torture at your show? I was Gutted they didn't play it at mine and Nothing from their very underrated album, Gambling with the devil.

Yeah they had the rotating blades, they were spinning in the beginning during the intro. They didn't play Mr. Torure, they did 'Time of the Oath' and 'The dark ride', though...and squeeezed in during a medley the chorus from 'Music' (beautiful, beautiful song ^^). Deris was in top shape, anyway.
They have another show tonight, same place in Bulgaria (the venue wasn't too big, maybe 800 - 1000, but sold out) so instead of a large venue, they get two shows and possibly more songs. Bulgarians are lucky mofos when it comes to metal... it's been that way for a few years now.

Here are some photos from the Negura Bunget concert last night:

The big drum was used for playing 'Norilor'. Also, everything you hear on their albums, they can deliver live. So I recommend seeing them. if you have the occasion.

Bells on 'Pamant'.

As usual, the instruments are everything but the kitchen sink - you'll see flutes, panpipes, horns, bells, xylophones. Tried to capture the infamous plank (called 'toac?') hit by hammers... You haven't lived enough until you've heard a solo from that thing. 0

They did a great show, although the sound was kind of bad at the beginning. The playlist also had a lot of my favorite songs like: Hora Soarelui, Cunoasterea Tacuta, Inarborat, Dacia Hiperboreana. Also did some of their atmospheric/ambient songs like Pamant and Norilor and a new song. They finished with Arborele Lumii.

went to go see Deicide and Belphegor last saturday... didn't manage to get many good pictures, but i did get one with Jack Owen from Deicide after their set, and i got to talk to Glen Benton for a second, despite what people say about him, he was actually totally cool when i spoke with him, he gets kind of a reputation of being a bit of a douche apparently

Sunday 3April. Went to see Children Of Bodom, Amon Amarth, Ensiferum and Machinea Supremacy at th ABC in Glasgow. Machinea Supremacy opened the proceedings with a lively set which went Down well with the early arrivals. I don't know very much about them but I enjoyed their music very much. Next up were Ensiferum whose set of about an hour charged along at a furious pace. The crowd lapped it up big style and were baying for more but due to time restrictions they had to go off. Amon Amarth came on to raptureous applause and A Forest of horns. They, if anything upped the pace even more and treated the crowd to a faultless performance and brought the house Down by finishing with "In Pursuit Of Vikings." Follow that Children Of Bodom. They did and then some. Their set featured tracks off the new album and of course the tried and trusted old favourites. A great night was had by all.
Unfortunately I suffered all day monday due to a overindulgence of the dreaded Guiness. No change there then.

Going to Disturbed/Korn tonight with a friend of mine named Piggy. I'll try to take pics, but I have a Floor seat and if the moshing is too bad I won't Risk taking my camera out.
Shouldn't be that bad mosh-wise though, because last time they rolled through town Disturbed had heavier music (the album they've released since is softer) and the moshing wasn't bad, you could easily Avoid it if you wanted to.

Saw CoB and Ensiferum yesterday. It was fun. Then pulled an all nighter writing a 20 page credit analysis project at the speed of desperation. Luckily, met the deadline. 0

Photos from concert:

Ensiferum: played a few songs from heir new album, but also from older ones like 'Iron', 'Ahti', 'Wanderer', 'Lai lai hei'.

Also, just how many skirts do these guys have?!0

Children of Bodom - great guitar shredding, as expected. Survived first row (it takes number 6 in my top life threatening concerts)

They played 'Hate Me!', 'Angels don't kill', 'Downfall', 'Follow the reaper', 'Hate Crew Death Roll'

everytime i take pictures at shows they come out looking horrible, being short sucks0
in an unrelated note, i tried crowd surfing for the first time last night, almost landed Head first on the stage, but it was fun nonetheless

Thanks, panzerjager! School work sucks, wait till university...0
Also, my camera is a laughing stock of a digital (only 5 mpx), but the photos come out pretty good because I'm sitting in the front row (always manage to catch it, got the luck of the devil).

@demo - sounds like fun, I never gotten to do any crowdsurfing. Maybe at the next big festival where I'm not too interested to see the band playing :P
