Pretty much GOD, this shit's just so addicting...Broadrick's got a great ear for a real sweet melody and he works it into this thick, heavy sound so well...just makes me wanna scream FUCK YEAH and slowly start wanking. Dreamily.
Okay, I'll post a song just so we don't go too long without one.
Tasty.

Drudkh is not my favorite band; I need to be in a very specific Mood to enjoy their music fully (which I think is sorta the point) but a short song like this is very good from them. It isn't as draining to listen to as track one off Forgotten Legends, for example, and it's a good way to introduce Drudkh to someone. The droning riffs integrate strong melody a lot, which is one reason I like Drudkh over other drone/black bands, and the drumming on cymbals sounds kinda neat--primitive. I like the soft acoustic intro that makes the whole song seem more fluid and organic before the rest kicks in, and I like the way acoustic weaves in and out of the song. Again, Drudkh isn't really my thing, but if they were this'd get like 10/10 from me.
I have a feeling everyone's gonna Hate this but I just love Storm and their one album to ever be released... even enough to have a patch of them on my battle jacket. I do album art for bands! Send me a Message or email [email protected] for more info. My website: http://curtisbotham.weebly.com/

8/10 Why would I Hate it? That was excellent. I liked it more than In Extremos version.
So, I was browsing through my PC, when found this song, and remembered that it was one of my favorite songs some 3 years ago. Why the Hell did I stop listening to it?

I gotta wonder, Infinity, how come you like Burzum and not Drudkh? I mean, if Drudkh's not your thing, that's cool, but they imitate Burzum a LOT. Don't understand how one can be your thing and not the other.

Hah, it's funny, I've heard that they're Burzum ripoffs a lot, but I just don't see it. It could be that I've only heard the first two albums, and they seem really droning and buzzy and stuff, and Burzum seems... spacier, I guess, and the songs have more progression. The Drudkh I've heard is only comparable to Burzum's album Belus and possibly Fallen.
So, is there anything on Forgotten Legends and AutumnAurora that's ripping off Burzum that I'm just missing?
Referring to the vid DMP put up:
7/10
Nice, but Nothing too original or distinguishable except a kind of buzzy/tremolo Black Metal thingy going with an upbeat Viking vibe. There are some odd points where the riffing sounds like it could be coming from Avenged Sevenfold, like at a little after 1:30, but Nothing too bad. The vocals are very out of place for me, but other than that this song is pretty good and would be nice for a casual listen now and again, but Nothing I'd be too heavily into.
BLUE OYSTER CULT IS COMING TO MY TOWN!
Not sure if I'm going yet, as they are only a 'special guest' and another band I don't like much is the headliner for $59 bucks. And I'm afraid that BOC won't sound as good as they do in the live recording in the vid I posted, which by the way was a fantastic performance and a fantastic live album. Just listen to that solo!
