8/10 Siiiick. Taake not only embraces the Norwegian sound but the spirit. as Far as modern Black Metal goes Hoest is up there with the best of 'em.

These guys Kick ASS. Not much more to say on the matter.

4/10. Djent blows a fat cocksicle. It's too bad, too, because they had a really dreamy post-hardcore type thing going at the beginning.

I was in a really shitty Mood today (largely due to the Fact that I got absolutely no sleep- I've been awake for about 25 hours now), and this song really helped calm me down. Feels like a dream.

I don't understand what is so interesting about "djent".

10/10 Heard it before. Always seems strange that Justin Broadrick is the same guy from Napalm Death and Godflesh yet he makes something as Majestic as this

Why couldn't Aborym make more albums like this?

Me neither, it's like an entire genre where bands thought Meshuggah wasn't gay enough so they ripped them off and added "modern metal" touches...ew.

I have that Aborym album but it never really grabbed me- the whole "industrial" shtick they got goin on always seemed more gimmicky than genuine. I've heard their later works are even worse so I haven't bothered to check them out, maybe someday though.

I can't think of a song to post so I'm not gonna post/rate, deal with it you fucks.

The only band I've found that utilizes the "djent" and actually makes it sound good has been Havoc Unit, but they don't Overkill it, so it sounds good.

Aborym's debut has a more genuine industrial feel, in my opinion... then every album after that was gimmicky (well, not much Fire Walk with Us).

The debut album's the only one I've heard, and I remember it sounding really forced...but I haven't heard it in a while, so I'll re-listen once Jesu stops being so awesome.

Might take a while.
