Arghoslent would be one of my top picks easily. Galloping Through the Battle Ruins is a pretty solid record, but Incorrigable Bigotry is really... I dunno how to describe it. The best shot I can give is that their riffcraft feels really predictable in how they're written and laid out in the songs; they feel particularly rote and again, predictable in how they progress. I'm not sure how else to describe it, really.

They're not a terrible band, but something about that album by any Means doesn't come off that well at all.

It's weird. The way people feel about Xasthur is the same way I feel about Electric Wizard. :| I don't think they're a horrible band. I just don't think they're that good, especially considering a few bands I know that could give them a run for their money.

Electric Wizard is a band you have to get used to. Those heavy guitars, slowness,... Xasthur isn't as hard as EW but I have problems with his image, beliefs and lyrics

I found EW to be extremely easy to get into. Sure, they've got that big, rumbling guitar tone and all- but their actual riffs aren't that heavy, they're just Sabbath imitations.

Also, I didn't make the "Assthur" comment, that was taken from Metal-archives' ED page. (I don't go there often for the record, but the MA page was an interesting read.) Although I do think Xasthur's terrible, shit's not even metal, it's friggin dark ambient. I don't have a problem with that on principle, but the way he composes it is just...eh. It's Bleak, dreary and...bleak and dreary. He never tries to do anything else and it gets really stale once you get past the novelty. Nocturnal Poisoning was okay, but the rest was just bad.

I feel the exact same way about Incorrigible Bigotry, Loudpipes. The best descriptor would be "music made by machines". Select riffs here and there are good, but they never really piece it together and make them count, there's just disjointed riffs.

The most overrated Band is THE ROLLING STONES.

From a musical point of view, is the proof that mediocrity has its place in the world.

then:

100% of alternative (e.g. Nirvana, GREEN DAY, RADIOHEAD,Limp Bizkit, MUSE, etc)

90% of Black and Death Metal bands (e.g. Impaled NazareneMardukSatyricon, BEHEMOT)
70% of Thrash Metal bands (e.g Death Angel, Nuclear Assault, Anthrax)
50% of Heavy Metal bands (e.g. Running Wild, Saxon, Riot, Anvil)
30% of Rock bands (e.g. EAGLES, SIMON & GARFUNKEL, GRATEFUL DEAD)
10% of Prog bands (e.g. Symphony X, Opeth)

Overrated Means that there are much better, is not it?

Overrated Means something is rated too high. In other words, if a band's album is worshiped, but you find it boring, then in your opinion it's overrated.

I disagree with you on Running Wild, Radiohead and those three rock bands you put though. Then again, opinions.

Now for a correct generalization: every single groove metal band is overrated with the exception of Exhorder

Exhorder isn't really groove though. They're a precursor to the genre but they're not groove themselves, sorta like Mercyful Fate and black metal.
