Exactly.  Shit flew when I dared to say that I don't like Voivod because of their less-than-serious aesthetic.  On one Hand their very closed-minded approach is good because it keeps out the Bullet For My Valentine kids, but it's kind of a double edged sword.

Yeah, I'm really impressed with what I see here. Everybody seems to get along and feeds off of each other instead of the stupid fighting one usually sees on internet forums. It also seems small enough that everybody kinda knows/is somewhat familiar with everybody, which is awesome.

Yeah for about a year there has only been a small group of people where almost no-one botherd to stay for longer than a month. I think its beacuse people over the internet don't want to chat with 16 year olds and the their opinions on metal/hardcore/rock.

Well, I just joined Metal Archives to get in on this post

I have to say I like SoM better than MA, even though I have only been on MA for a few minutes

Like someone else said on here, this forum is much easier to navigate through, and I like having avatars Although I do have to say, I think I will be using both in the future, but SoM is my answer right now haha.
