Also, that is completely untrue. Art requires some sort of creative or progressive thought. Giving birth, however beautiful it may be, is not an art. It is a craft. Building a bridge is a craft. There is a subtle difference between art and Craft that you have not only failed to distinguish, but have completely ignored.

I find arguements used from both Infinity and Enigmatick to be rather logical . Especially the explanation Infinity gave about Giger's artwork .
Instead of the emotional uplifting that "art-for-art" is supposed to create , he came up with a reason supporting "art-for-purpose" which is always dedicated to a cause .

Hentai (some of them at least ) might be pretty to watch at , but they dont fit in either category . They dont provoke emotions , or support any cause .

definition of art always was (and will be) more conceptual than visual...  Infinity said same...  i answered that if giger's dick's penetrated in asses (that looks (believe me) more pervert than many of hentai artworks) is called art,it's only because of it's concept in the first place... after that i judged it's concept...  the concept of that art was a message against overpopulating of mankind,well i agree with giger's concept and yeah,concept behind that assfucking really deserves to be called art...
