Ummm, no. There's a lot of things that require hardwork and doesn't kill. Like labour. I've never seen an art critic standing around a woman giving birth. Or going through 12 years of school. Lots of hard work, not art.
The closest things I'd associate with porn that passes for art is this:

See how sexuality is a defenite theme here and on other HR Giger artworks, but it isn't exploitative or erotic. Those are key factors in seperating porn from art.

Though the sexual aspect of his art is liked and hated (I Hate the sexual point), the actual art is fantastic. Giger is great (gotta love Alien... regardless of the Deviant sexual undertones).

-What's seen on here is shown objectively and arranged into a pattarn reminiscent of a lot of artists such as MC Escher and the like. It's supposed to trick the eyes by looking like something else from a distance (it was originally used as a wallpaper). Not only that, but it has a message. Did you notice only one cock has a condom on it? Giger is stating a message about over reproductivity and overuse of Sex in all cultures that leads to overpopulation (which explains why we see so many dicks on the image), and that very few people actually bother with the protection.
 
-From a technical aspect, the detail in this is incredible. It was painted on a huge ass canvas before being put onto a wallpaper. The gradient is great and the even blend of tones is masterful. Look at it closely; the lighting intricacies are pretty amazing.
 
Oh, and hentai is still porn.

if (that's what you are sayng) concept of art is more important than it's visual side,than you can't call hentai ''jerking material'' because most of hentai has very deep,psychological concept inside,that's the first situation and here you loose...   now second: let's say the visual side of art is more important than it's concept,even in this situation hentai deserves to be called art and you still loose...

I'm not saying it isn't art just because of this, and hentai's only concept is to stimulate the viewer. And again, the asses/dicks in Giger's Penis Landscape are objective.
