Getaway Recording Studio was founded in 2004 by Jay Maas, a guitarist from hardcore/punk band Defeater, in Wakefield, north of Boston, Massachusetts. It is the location for the producing, mixing, and engineering of albums by bands such as Vanna and Transit.
