Hi, first, thanks answering this interview. And could you start it with a little biography of your group.
I founded the band in 1995, after the break of AZYL, a band where I have the bass and vocals. Our first material come out in 1996 it was called “Dark Fairies Dancing”, the first album with live drummer, and the last. We had no demo tapes before. In the same year we recorded our second album “In The Forest of Weariness”. Beginning with this piece we started to use an automatic drummer. Your new album, named “Abandonned in the forest of Wearness” is just out, how was it received by the fans and the media.
As I know, the new CD was accepted positively by our fans. Also some reviews were good, but in some zines we got really bad reviews. Well, our music is not for everyone :-)

 

Three years of silence... Why taking so much time before recording a new album ?
It is a long story. So in short, our ex – member Slavka, become a mother so she left the band for a short time. During that time I found an another keyboard player, her name is Jitka. After a one year time Slavka returned to the band, but only as a vocalist, not as a k

eyboard player. After that we finally entered the studio and record our new CD. That was the reason of silence.

 

And you, are you personnaly totally satisfied with it ?
Hm… I am never satisfied, but this CD is a good one..

“Abandonned in the forest of Wearness” is your sixth album, in which way is if different of the others ?
It is a fastest CD in our career. Nothing special, the same music like on the CD before, but faster. Also the play time of the new CD is fast. :-)

Could you explain to us the concept of the album ?
Sorry, there is no concept, only music and lyrics. The best way how to understand our music is listen to it.

How would you describe your music for the readers?
Our music… Hypno-doom metal, with mouth-harmonica and accordion. Song are simple and its easy to remember them.

What are your influences ?
The greatest influence for me is the life itself. I always found something new in it.

How is the metal scene in your country ? Is it hard to record a full length album or to do gigs ?
Our metal scene is the same like the scene world-wide, we have some good bands like NOMENMORTIS, GA

LADRIEL. The album recording depends on your money storage, he-he. We have some good studios where you can made a good record, and if you want good record you have to pay for it. Like for everything in the world. And gigs? We are not really live band, so what can I say. Nothing special.

Will french fans get the chance to see you on stages soon ?
Well, right now I guess no, but maybe in the future. Never say never.

Do you know/apreciate french band ?
YES, great bands like old Suppuration, Massacra.

Others projetcs now ?
No time for any other projects, I have a regular job, so there is no chance for projects. And the second thing, creating music cost time and money, and right now I don’t have any of them.

And, to finish, could you explain to us, your vision about the “spirit of metal” ?
I have no vision my friend, everything in this world is only about money, so forget about the spirit, its DEAD.
