October 1993, Jorge Hernández of 17 years old was studying second year of music in the National Center of Arts (El Salvador) and with his brothers Lito Portillo of 20 years old (student of Engineering in the National University of El Salvador) and Ronald Hernández of 11 years old (He received academic music lesson's) they started the biggest dream of their lives; conformed a Metal band incorporating to this original alignment to John Méndez (english teacher) and J Olivares, (Jorge's classmate).

Only 6 trials and they were invited to participate on a festival at the University of El Salvador, based in San Miguel, hometown of members of this new group. By not having a name they improvised "TNT", a name taken from the amplifier for TNT under 115. TNT was formed by Jorge Hernández on guitar leader, Lito Portillo in the drums, Ronald Hernández on keyboards, J Olivares on bass and John Méndez in the voice and rhythm guitar, playing heavy metal bands' songs of the glam times and ballads, plus an original song ("La magia del rock") conducted a series of local concerts.

In 1995 John Mendez and J Olivares leave the group for personal reasons. It was in the same year that Marvin Martínez suscribed to receive guitar lessons in the music academy that Jorge Hernández and Lito Portillo had as a independent project, and discovered in the new student a striking voice. They suggested him to join the band as vocalist (but spent several years and many trials to achieve a good result, ahh! and never learned to play guitar LOL).
As TNT they recorded 2 songs ("La tierra y la bestia" and "Tus recuerdos").

In 1997 Portillo-Hernández brothers migrate to San Salvador (capital city of El Salvador) and passed that year with not much work for the band. On 1998 they decide to change the name of the band to "Lethal Injection", due to certain problems with the old name and still with not much activity, but writing some original songs.

In 2000 they meet for essay their own music; a relaunch of the band under the name "Vertigo METAL" and concerts were planned. For this relaunch the group was formed as follows:
Jorge Hernandez in the guitar, Lito Portillo in the drums, as bassist Ron Hernández and Marvin Martínez in the voice.

As a result of their hard work it was produced the album "Muriendo en la Oscuridad", which contains 11 tracks.

It was on 2004 that they recorded and produced the album "Heroína del Infierno" and organized promotional tours, this disc is a compilation CD of "Muriendo en la Oscuridad" plus 5 new items.
