Биография : Svyatogor

Svyatogor's history springs from the beginning of the moist autumn of 1999, when Arius and Konstantin decided to join their efforts for musical experiments. They named their project as Castle. Its line-up was as follow: Arius - guitars; Konstantin - guitars, vocal. Two songs were created: 'Battle Beyond The Forest' and 'Immediate Vengeance'.
In spring of 2000 a drummer Odalv joined the band and Castle was renamed into Svyatogor. The second guitarist Alafern (Thunderkraft) joined the band in autumn of 2000, and Konstantin found an opportunity to concentrate his attention upon vocal parts, and a bass-player Paulus joined the band in spring, 2001. The band went on its active rehearsal activities; as a result the band presented its stuff in a gig in Fort Club in autumn of 2001, and then in the annual festival Kolovorot-4 in Kharkov. The band continued rehearsals after favorable reviews of its audience, and Svyatogor started recordings of the debut album at the band's home studio in summer, 2002.
By summer of 2003 the album was almost completed, but force-majeur conditions occurred and PC's breakdown buried the album that was almost ready for releasing. The band started reviving the lost stuff only in spring, 2004. Unfortunately, Odalv and then Paulus left the band. A studio-beginner was chosen for recording of the debut album as an experiment. Parts of drums and guitars were recorded, but the recording quality left much to be desired and after short negotiations Svyatogor transferred the stuff recording to 'audioALchemia' studio to re-record guitar, bass, violin and vocal parts.Svyatogor's line-up during the record session was as follow: Alafern - guitars, bass, violin; Arius - guitars; Konstantin - vocal.
The album entitled as '...With Wolfish Stalk and By Wings of Black...' saw the light of the day in spring, 2007. The album includes 6 tracks: 'Battle Beyond The Forest', 'Immediate Vengeance', 'Ravens and Wolves', 'The Darkness Whelmed', 'For the Sake of Ukraine!!!', 'War Anthem'. At the same time a drummer Vsesvit (Dub Buk) joined the band, and rehearsals were resumed with him, although Konstantin left the band
