Founded in the early nineties from fragments of local Hamburg-based thrashmetal- bands "Asmodis", who just have reunited these days, and "Cosmic Ambience", Stone Cold Black started to create their powerful, rock-influenced oldschool thrash-metal. After a few line-up changes - Korea left the band several times, but got back in 2007, also bass and leadguitar was replaced by Ulf (b) and Langer (git.) - and a short period of rehearsing the old songs and some new stuff, a few local shows were played. Then SCB went to record their album “The Cell“ from May to June 2008. After the recording SCB played several liveshows, including the legendary HOA-festival in Brande-Hörnerkirchen, near Hamburg/Germany, where SCB appeared in 2008, and the Rocktower-Festival in Lübeck in April 2009, the band also played a show in Holland at the „Tilburg Headbangers Fest“ which was well responsed by the local scene. More gigs in the near future are already confirmed, also a new album is planned to be recorded.
