The band formed in mid 2002 playing DOOM - DEATH from the beginning to this time. After only a
few weeks of rehearsing and some line up adjustments we played our first show in front of almost 800
people during the"Solidaridad Festival I" in David, Chiriqui; the band's actual location. Many other
shows came by and were also extremely successful for the band earning great acceptance by the local
metal mongers since the style had almost never been played by any Panamanian band and people
were eager for something different.
We have had the honor of sharing the stage with the best
Panamanian metal acts and some excellent foreign acts such as Disgorge (Mexico), Dantesco (Puerto
Rico), Unzane (Puerto Rico), Mantra (Costa Rica), Anton (Mexico), Arsenal (Costa Rica), Ancestral
(Nicaragua), Zenith (Uruguay), Pseudostratiffied Epithelium (Costa Rica) among other great bands.
In June 2003 the band released a Promo CD entitled "Templos de Amanita" which contains 6 songs
all recorded live, two of them during our first show ever and the others recorded during our show with
Disgorge (Mexico). The sound quality is good for a local live recording so the band's influence and acceptance
grew stronger nationwide and also started to draw a lot of attention from other countries, especially in
South America.
In July 2003 and after several other line up changes the band played at the Panama Metal Fest, the
biggest metal festival in this country along with most of the best bands around, such as Lord Emigrants,
Acteron, Selah, Cabeza de Martillo, Antaro, Morttus... and delivered such an intense metal discharge that only after a year of existence and having released only a promo CD the band was nominated for an award in the "Best Metal Performance" category of the Panama Rock Awards, the highest recognition given to Panamanian rock-metal acts.
In December 2003 the band entered Supersonic Studios for the recording of their first official demo which would be entitled "Hijos del Ayahuasca", yet the release was postponed due to line-up changes. This CD became a promo CD release in 2005 under the name "Hyperdimensional Vortex" since all old recordings were discarded. The band is actually working on new tracks for an entirely new recording which must be released in 2007 and shall become our official full length release.
As for our ideology, we speak about the native pride of our ancestral cultures, shamanic power and practices, obscurity, energy and natural grandeur, of what's beyond and the meaning of the silent knowledge.

Our future plans are to keep on playing deep, emotional DOOM - DEATH and release "Hijos del Ayahuasca" pretty soon keeping the black flame of doom alive!!
