“Escape of the Unborn”…..“Liquor Store Massacre”….“The Butcher”….

Song titles like these would shy away most music listeners, and musicians, but for the Omaha based band Sepulco, creating the most bizarre and morbid music possible has always been a priority!

Co-founders Adrian Salcido and Joey Cardenas met in 2000 while in high school when they both had little experience playing music, but through a forged friendship, they decided to start a band….a death metal band. Being fans of B gore movies and the extreme metal genre, writing the music came out naturally, but it was still two just jamming and writing songs. They wanted a band.

Like any band that has ever existed they found members that lasted a few months to a few years, but longtime bassist James Doke seemed to outlast them all playing with the band for nearly 5 years.

In the band’s 12 year history, Sepulcro has played shows around the Midwest, recorded an EP and a split, and gained fans and friends during the whole experience. Sepulcro’s morbid future looks promising as the band will continue doing what has done for 12+ years….. creating the most bizarre and morbid music possible.
