Issued from East of France, near the Alpes, SALHEM was formed in 2001, and is composed of five musicians : Thierry Collet (vocals), Stéphane Terris (guitar), Philippe Béreyziat (basse), Patrick Fargeot (keyboard), Thierry Chossat (drums).
Following the arrival within the group of new musicians, the musical orientation changed much, the Heavy Metal applied to the beginning changed during years into a current Rock Metal sung into French.
A 4 tracks CD (2003), a participation at “French Steel” compilation, great scenic prestations, makes it possible the group to enjoy a good reputation.
With the passing of years, SALHEM arrives to a great musical maturity and goes in studio for one month, at the beginning of 2007, to release their first album “Connexion Animale” including 11 songs. The album is a mixing cocktail of the riffs of all the periods of Metal, more modern sonorities and the effective melodies what confers to the band a true identity. French texts in the line of a Trust group.
11 songs effective and varied with a very good production, the oldest titles marrying well with the most modern compositions.
An album that, as well the fans of Trust, Paradise Lost, Blaze and even Rammstein,… should appreciate.
