Premithon was formed in September 2004 in the small town of Fleet in Hampshire. The original line-up consisted of Mark Roberts on guitar, Mark Tyas on bass and David Wilbraham on drums. Around May 2005, Tim Fife-Schaw was enlisted as a second guitarist, since then Premithon have become an unstoppable death metal onslaught. The band name is derived from a great beast chained in the centre of the Earth by the gods. When the Premithon awakens and tugs on the chains its bound by, it causes almighty earthquakes.
