Born in 1996 in Udine , Overblood proved to be, since their beginning an active part in the Italian underground. The band gets to a stable and competitive formation only after a first demo (“Travel Soul” – 1999) and various live shows, when to their original components Marco (voices), Flavio (guitars) and Nicola (bass) Dario e Gabriele join, the guitarist and drum player of the thrash band Bersek. Thanks to the technical and stylistical help of the two new members, the new formed band registers a full-length self produced album in 2001, called “Our Blood”, which synthesizes the experiences of the five boys up until that moment. The CD was received with many words of encouragement from the Italian and foreign press. The promotion of the album, which got them to the collaboration with Enrico Giannone's Kick Promotion Agency, brings them to share the stage with bands like Slowmotion Apocalypse, Infernal Poetry, Legion, Arkenemy, Revoltons, Tystnaden, Rumors of Gehenna. Unfortunately, after this intensive live activity, Nicola and Gabriele leave the band due to job interests, causing an unfortunate instability. With the arrivals first of Alberto, bass player, and then Andrea, drum player, Overblood find again the stability and themotivation, in the summer of 2006. Since then the band has worked hard to re-define their changed style, in order to find a sound more like the new formation. Starting from their roots which go very into the strong, powerful thrash of bands like Pantera and Sepultura they rediscovered the aggression and speed of old school (Slayer in all, but also Testament, Anihilator…), with the eye on the new north European scene (The Haunted, Carnal Forge…)

“Infected Society” is the product of the re-elaboration, of our ten years experience, work and effort on the stages of half Italy ! Registered at Riccardo Asquini's SaoJo Studio, mastered at Cutting Room Studios in Sweden, this mini-cd, mainly addressed to the attention of labels and zines, tries to show with only two tunes our double soul. The very straight one, savage and full speeded, and the one more quiet, heavy and old school.We want to leave only to you the judgment of our work, hoping that you will appreciate the result of our passion!
