Back in 1998, with a commun musical background since many years, the Malengreaux brothers, Kris (drums) and Frederik (guitars) created Baalberith, a black metal influenced band, descending directly from their previous band, Despise. Patrice (vocals) joined the band from the beginning.
Immediately, they started ti look for a bassist, but fortune didn't seem to shuw up...
Patrice decided then to put an ad in a local paper and, surprise, in May 1999 Frank took contact with him and agreed to try his luck.
The came June 1999 and the traditionnal Graspop festival, where Fred met by chance an old friend, Richard (guitars - formerly in Drakkar and Astaroth). Fred proposed him to join Baalberith, and he agreed.
On the first friday of July 1999, two new faces entered the cave at Genly for a rehearsal which will be part of the band's history. The group was now complete!
Things were going just fine. The band decided then to turn his name in NEMESIS IRAE. Doing more and more concerts, the band recorded a first demo CD, self made and self produced.
But in Augustus 2001, Patrice left Nemesis Irae. Now without a mead vocalist, Fred assumed the role int the emergency of the Metal Attack Fest II.
It took one year, and several vocalist trials, to find the man of the situation.
In November 2002, Anthony joined the band and completed Nemesis Irae.
In october 2004, after having made its last concert, Franc decided to leave the group for personal reasons
