Bio: The roots of Musspellheim should be searched in the year 2005, when Leticia (vocals) and Nina (Harp) decided to form a band according to their ideology and musical tastes. So Raven Lord (guitar), Erik (guitar) and Fenrir (drums) joined the band and started composing Viking/folk metal songs with lyrics that talk about Norse Mythology and ancient battle scenes. By the year 2006 Nina had already left the band due to personals reasons and Nidhogg (bass, vocals) and Morgana (keyboards) joined the band. The process of recording the first demo (Wolves of Odin) took place between the months of February and October of 2007, and it consisted of 4 tracks. It was in this year in which the band started its concert activity. The first show was in Montevideo with Isacaarum (Czech Republic) in March, 2007. Until now Musspellheim has been performing in local concerts with bands like Perpetual (Colombia), Trollhorn (Rivera, Uruguay), Slaotvean (Canada) and Nightkarnation (Argentina). The band also travelled to Santana do Livramento, Brazil; in October, 2007 and again in May, 2008 and having a great recognition from the audience in its shows. The band goes on composing and recording for what it’s going to be the first album. Currently, the band members are: Leticia (soprano and growls), Nidhogg (bass, vocals), Morgana (keyboards), Gaston (guitar) and Tabaré (drums).
