Formed in 2007 by Scourge. After releasing the somewhat varied demo "Of Plague And Pestilence" Lunar Occultis has seemed to tilt to more of a Pagan-Epic-Medival Black Metal style.

"Of Pestilence And Plague" is a varied release ranging from atmospheric to sometimes more depressive and ambient black metal. The demo was partially recorded in 2007 and followed up in the early months of 2008. The songs "Journey Through Dark Desolate Forests" and "Of Pestilence And Plague" and considered to be the highlights of the demo. Tracks vary from utilising two panned guitars to one guitar and minimal if none at all keyboards.

The band's next release; "A Blood Moon Rising" will feature some Medival and Epic Black Metal Themes.
