Биография : Locked Together In Hatred

Four close friends experienced a decade together in Paramus, New Jersey with interests in heavy metal/hardcore music. They came together to create a new sound with melodic rifts and crusty breakdowns. The bottomless pits of the suburbs influenced this group to break out and express their passion and admiration for their favorite style of music.

In the summer of 2009, the four piece made their first movement to structure their release of their three song demo, "A Key to Salvation". Recording of this demo was done in a small-time local studio

Shortly after the demo was released, the band started playing shows at small local venues. Before anyone knew it, they were playing 3-5 shows a month. They have gained fans in Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New York, and of course, their home state, New Jersey.

In the winter of 2009, the band added a bassist who improved their already-genuine sound.

The fan-base continued to grow as time went on. The band knew it was time to get serious when fans began to inquire about CDs, t-shirts and other types of merchandise. The guys started looking at studios and finally got an offer in Long Island to produce an album. They spent a grueling two weeks working their asses off to give birth to their first record. The story of each musician is written within the breathtaking breakdowns and crisp guitar tracks. This independent five piece is still expanding their knowledge of music and working to make their sound more unique.

They're always looking for new ways to make their music even more hardcore. They have the heart and passion to take them to the next level of achievement in the music industry.

Locked Together In Hatred is proud to be considered one of few independent metal bands in North Jersey. From financing they're debut record "Old Demons Are New Beginnings" to creating graphics for online distribution. It has been extremely tough to expand the band due to a lot of venues charging them to play anywhere from 50 dollars to 300 in order to get on the stage. In fact, there are no venues in the NJ/ NY area that are willing to let bands play for "free".

Being this is the sad truth LTIH struggles ever day in order to book more shows. Every member in LTIH knows this and is willing to travel anywhere that the metal scene exists in order to gain more fans that really appreciate the music.
