The French black metal band Kristallnacht was formed in 1994 as a solo project of an individual called L.F. who had previously been in the black metal band Funeral. Before their debut demo L.F. was jailed for three months accused of inciting racial hatred. They did their first live appearance in the year 2001 with session musicians. The following year the band was dissolved as L.F. decided to distance himself from the NSBM scene.
