The history of Kriegseisen could not have been told, without a partial history of Northrone. The complete line-up was established during summer 2003 and consisted of: Astharoth(bass), Arallu(guitar), Mortuus(drums) and Nilg(vocal). All members were united in an enormous will of playing raw and primitive Black Metal which was something more than just a music for them. Their first materials ever were inspired mostly by early achievements of the Norwegian scene – Darkthrone, Burzum, or Mayhem. During December they were backed-up by Orlock who became their regular member as a second guitarist. His performance leads up to better sounding of the band and also exceeds the way of making recent recordings. Wider horizons became available. When the band was ready to start creating their new and much more sophisticated material, clear differences in the way of understanding Black Metal and the world appeared, which resulted in depression of the band's goals and achievements. Shortly, it became clear that musical and outlook differences were so vast that sooner or later it had to cause personal alterations, which were unavoidable but necessary for the band to go on with its goals. During summer 2004 the escalation of a conflict resulted in dismissal of drummer Mortuus and also individual decision of guitarist Arallu, who decided to leave with him.

Fundamentally, at this stage it is right to say about the establishment of KRIEGSEISEN. However, the band continued playing as Northrone for some time, but that had a minor importance. Alterations which were appearing gradually within the band became successful and determining. Band's visions remained the same, but from that time, it was a totally new band. During August a drummer - Azghal joined the band and in this four person line-up they proceeded with intensive rehearsals and new material. On 19th of December 2004 they performed their first gig ever. During September 2005, the band was reinforced by a new guitarist Golik. General changes inside the band were so obvious and immense that it was impossible not to notice them. The band assumed the name KRIEGSEISEN.

The year 2006 was the most laborious in the band's history. They played a set of gigs in Poland, during which they performed in new and stabilized line-up. At the beginning of May, Kriegseisen has recorded their first demo material named “Against Lies and Betrayal”.
