From The Creation...

In 1995 Hildr, with Saturnalia started her first band called Beyond The Forests. After the first year, Saturnalia decided to join Kawir and Hildr joined Lloth (now known as Astarte). After a few recordings and shortly before the first demo was to be released, a bad situation developed that made her decide to leave the band and join Nocternity.

However, all was going well, and we had already recorded some of the songs for the first demo, for several reasons the band split up. Khal Drogo continued with Nocternity. The vocalist (Acherontas), bassist (Devilish), drummer (Spyros) and keyboardist (Hildr) made a new band called Worship.

In 1997, Saturnalia returned and the band release a mini CD called "Through The Dark Age We Are Dreaming". After the CD was released, the band had their first concert. Later, Worship was renamed Beyond The Forests and it was Hildr's first band. They released their first full album called "Battles From Beyond" and played another concert.

At the end of 1999, the band spit up once more. Acherontas and Devilish made Stutthof and released "Hecate's Embrace" and most of the songs on this album were taken from the "Battles From Beyond" CD. Hildr and Saturnalia decided to quit the band scene, but Hildr continued working by herself in the background.

In 2003 Hildr decide to take a new step by joining Ego Drama, but the cruelty of the band and lack of character made her leave the band very soon. So, she decided to create her own band... and "leave it all behind".

The Battle Valkyrie

In the same year Hildr started working on her own material and in 2004 released her first solo album. The self-financed CD "Deceitful Fate" featuring 9 tracks and 1 cover, which received many good reviews worldwide.

Epic tunes and angelic vocals were the result of Hildr's inspiration. This combination was never performed by any other band from Greece. In 2005 Hildr started working on her second CD, but was not happy with the initial result, especially with the guitar sound as the second CD was to be even more metal.

Guitarist Alboin worked with her band as a session player and the new CD was re-recorded from the very beginning with better results... Being inspired by the music of Falkenbach, Hildr Valkyrie paid homage to this one-man band and made a cover (with the help of Alboin on guitars) which appeared on "An Homage to Falkenbach" with the song "The Heralder" and was released by Skaldic Art Prod. at the end of 2005.

During 2005 and 2006 after listening to and appreciating Hildr's work, some skilful bands asked her to join them as a guest or session player... and the battle goes on!

Music History

2003: The Creation of Hildr Valkyrie
2004: Her first CD titled "Deceitful Fate" was released in 2004.
2005: In 2005 Hildr became a proud member of Folkearth. Also session member "Alboin" joined her band and offered his valuable help, recording the e-guitars for the second CD.
2006: Hildr became a full member of Uruk Hai (Austria) and also joined forces with Morgan the bard as a vocalist.
2007: In May of 2007 Hildr joined the one-man band Voluspaa from Norway as a session vocalist which had already done some recordings and you can hear them at www/myspace.com/voluspaa, also she was been asked to join Ruthin from Wales...
And the battle goes on and on...
