With a history as norwegian power metal pioneers Phoenix Rizing, who released 2 albums worldwide ; "Rise From The Ashes" (98) & "Eternal Crusade" (00), the band changed singer and formed Highland Glory in the summer of 2001! With a fresh new start and an increased potential, the band developed their style of melodic power metal in a heavier & more traditional direction on the debut album, "From The Cradle To The Brave"(03). Due to the versatility of the new line-up, the material is more diverse, covering both the fast, slow, gentle & brutal aspects of metal & even incorporating celtic influences. The artwork was created by none other than Mark Wilkinson (famous for his work for Marillion, Fish, Iron Maiden & Judas Priest). The band is still signed to Face Front, the label run by Frode Øien (chief editor of Scream Magazine), yet the debut album has been licenced to Massacre records for the rest of europe (except scandinavia). The plan for the future is to spread the word, music & glory of the highlands!
