Биография : Hatred (GER)

The Dutch Death Metal band HATRED was founded in January 1999 when metal-diehards Peter de Jonge (bass guitar) and Peter van der Schraaf (guitar) joined forces. Both like Death Metal without compromise, and found a drummer to accomplish their own definition of brutal metal: a pulverizing sound which acknowledges both influences from Death and Slayer as well as from some modern day bands like Vader.

Just a year after the spawn the band record –in ony two days time- a professional demo CD at the Harrow studio, Holland, it sounds like a Deathmetal recording should sound: raw, aggressive and –above all- brutal.
This title-less debut CD demo was presented to the public in February 2000 when the band supported Dutch deathsters Altar. The reactions of the crowd were great and subsequent reviews in Aardschok magazine, Ablaze magazine, Pull The Chain and Martalgang Webzine (among others) were very praising.

In the meanwhile, guitarist Joska joined forces. Gigs at the Martelgang metal fest; the Batcave (Tilburg) and the Frontline (Gent) were very well received, as well as the other numerous shows.
In April 2001 drummer Rob quit the band and was replaced by Marco, with whom HATRED played another series of gigs, including a European Tour (Slovakia, Czech Republic, France, Spain and Holland) with Dementor, Crusher and Eternity in march 2002.

In july 2002 former drummer Rob returned and the band worked hard writing new material which are more creative and faster but also loyal to nowadays Deathmetal. The band recorded a new mini-cd “Chaos In The Flesh” on 25 & 26 of november 2002 at the renowned Harrow studio. After the release of the MCD in january 2003 HATRED will continue as a trio.

With the new mini-cd and a strong live-set, the band has returned and will show what HATRED is about!!
