Биография : Harvist

1996-1997
Dusk forms HARVIST as a one-man project with the release of a two song promo cassette. The promo contains the tracks "The Pagan Moonset" & "A Gleam in the Night".

1997-1998
Dusk records 5 songs for the "Form Glimnneraka" promo CD. HARVIST signs with Dark Horizon Records to release the debut album.

1999
Dusk records then re-records the full-length debut "A Gleam in the Night". Additional musicians, Nechochwen & Belial are brought in to record a classical guitar piece & a guitar solo to complete the album.

2000-2001
"A Gleam in the Night" is released worldwide through Dark Horizon & receives favorable reviews from such magazines as Metal Maniacs & Pit Magazine in the U.S. & Terrorizer Magazine in the U.K. Dusk takes time off from HARVIST to complete recording & live obligations with the bands, GOATROT, WARKULT, & DERKETA.

2002
A line-up is recruited with Della Cagna on vocals, Nechochwen & Pain on guitars & Bug on bass. The quartet record the 4 song "Turmoil Of The Seed" promo & perform the first live show for HARVIST. The line-up dissolves shortly after due to the other members musical differances. Due to the drastic change in musical style, "Turmoil Of The Seed" goes un-released.

2002-2003
Dusk composes material for the next HARVIST album. Matthias Churchburner agrees to handle vocal tracks & Madhr joins full-time on guitar, as well as Kranek on guitar & Dormarth on bass. The quartet immediately records a 5 song promo, "Lightning Storm in the Veins", with Dusk recording drum tracks at the fifth practice.

2003-2004
Kranek & Dormarth are unable to continue with the rigorous demands of HARVIST & are abruptly released from their obligations in the band leaving Madhr to re-record their tracks before entering Sacred Sound (then Emerald Sound) Studios to master the promo. Upon hearing rough tracks for the new promo, Dark Horizon decided to release the "Lightning Storm in the Veins" & "Turmoil Of The Seed" promos on one disc.
2005
"Lightning Storm in the Veins" is released through Dark Horizon Records & again receives favorable reviews by the metal press. A line-up is collected to perform live with such bands as: KULT OV AZAZEL; TERATISM; BLOODSTORM; HORN OF VALERE; URN; & ANGELRUST. The line-up (which composed of Madhr & Abhorrance on guitars, Archon on vocals & Goat on Bass)recorded the track "Foundations" for the "Destroyers From The Western Skys" compilation CD for Killzone Records. Dusk begins laying down tracks for what is to be HARVIST's 2nd full-length release, "Wolfskin Clad".

2006

2007
