The Finnish gothic metal band Fall Of The Leafe was formed in Turku (or Åbo as it is known in Sweden) in early 1996 by guitarist Jussi Hänninen who started composing very melodic black / death metal songs with folk music influences. Their label Rage Of Achilles Records announced in late July 2004 that they would not release any new albums and in September the band signed a new contract with the Finnish label Firebox Records.
