Dirge For Wisdom (ex-Satyriasis) is a psychedelik melodic black (early) / gothic indus metal (old) project formed in Saint-Paul 3 Châteaux, France in 2005 by the hand of Thor Enke.

Satyriasis' first two years saw two demos recorded amidst the sort of rapid line-up fluctuations. It started out as a cover band, covering songs of artists such as Cradle Of Filth.

In early summer of 2005, Satyriasis released "Theater of a Dying God". This too was a demo tape. Then, he released "Lucifer's Tales" with Marina and Crystale as vocalists. After many lineup changes, Satyriasis released "Ondskapens Paradis" in early 2007. The band eventually signed to Tuttie Records (indie Label created by Thor Enke) and its full-length studio CD, "Ondskapens Paradis". Satyriasis has released one full length CD and two demos to date.

The band was originally called Satyriasis, but they soon changed this to Dirge For Wisdom after the join of Félicia in April 2007. Mr. Thor Enke announced the coming of a new CD entitled "A Suite to Our Heaven", becoming then, the "Antivalentinist". In December 2007, Félicia got kicked out by Mr. Thor Enke after many tensions.

February 2008, the 17th, the Promotional Version of "A Suite to Our Heaven" is added for listening on DFW Official Myspace whereas the "A Suite to Our Heaven" EP is scheduled for release in late December 2008. And on December 2008, the 30th, it did !

… Unfortunately, Dirge For Wisdom ended up concluding their career in 2009.
