Биография : Deteriorot

Formed in 1990 by founding members Paul Zavaleta (Guitar/Vocals) & Jon Brody (Drums). Together recruited Will Kuberski (a. k. a. Worthless) on lead guitar & Jim Hoffman on bass, DETERIOROT recorded their first release Demo '92. Dominating the first half of the 90's by playing shows frequently with Obituary, Entombed, Unleashed, Incantation and many others earned DETERIOROT a large fan base and local following along with notoriety from fanzines around the world. DETERIOROT went into the studio and recorded an EP for Afterworld Records entitled "Ceremonies Of Blasphemy". But the record label fell through financial problems and never released it. Shortly after, DETERIOROT was offered a contract with Drowned Productions. Winter 1992 was spent in the studio recording their next release with new bassist Chris Machado (now in Ill Nino). Summer 1993 Drowned released an EP entitled "Manifested Apparitions of Unholy Spirits" with a darker heavier sound. DETERIOROT proved they can have no limits. A full length album was next in the works, but due to unfortunate circumstance of Drowned shutting down, the album was never produced and eventually they went their separate ways. DETERIOROT is now set to return with all original founding members: Paul, Jon and Will (a. k. a. Worthless). The next release will pick up exactly where "Manifested" left off. The DETERIOROT sound will remain the same. All new songs are still written and arranged by Paul Zavaleta & Jon Brody. The classic feel and sound will still be there. The next coming year will be the busiest. January 2001 brings in the latest addition to the band in bassist O.D. Lallo, but a sad parture from long time guitarist Will Kuberski (a. k. a. Worthless). We wish him the best! "In Ancient Beliefs" CD was released by the defunct WW3 Records (California) instead by Repulse as it was supposed in the beginning. DETERIOROT status now is split up. Let DETERIOROT invite you into their dark world.
