Deathronation started as Eyesore in the beginning of 2004 with a jam session of Stiff Old (guitar), Basti Silberkuhl (bass, vox) and I-H8 (drums). In summer 2005, Eyesore played the first live show and in the upcoming winter, the band recorded a demo, but it was too unsatisfying to release it. At this time, Basti became more and more busy with his main band Own, and few months later he left Eyesore.

Stiff Old started to ask some of his old friends and searched for new members through some metal ‘zines. S. Muerte read, that they were searching for a lead guitarist and a bass player and after he heard some of the songs, he did a jam session with Eyesore and so they had a new bass player. S. Muerte talked to the other guys, that he knows an excellent lead guitarist and after the band came together with Randy Rots, the band was finally complete and after some weeks of rehearsing, they decided to rename the band in Deathronation, which stands just for old skull death metal and for a coming brutal age of hate and destruction.

The band rerecorded 4 tracks (written by Basti S. and Stiff Old) of the Eyesore demo in october/ november 2006. After Deathronation played 3 gigs (all in nuremberg) with bands like Necros Christos, Sufferage, Wolfthorn, Nocturnal Breed and Pentacle, internal differences were the reasons why Randy Rots and Deathronation split up in april 2007. The recordings for the 2nd demo are in progress and more gigs are confirmed !!
