Биография : Bitter Peace

Formed somewhere around 2005 by Lance Gifford, after years involved with the Black Metal scene with my fanzine "Ultima Comparatio" and then eventual label by the same title, I decided it was time to start recording some music. Never really materialized until 2009 where I had a demo of a bunch of material all written and roughly recorded.

Initially Marten Bjorkman of the Swedish Black Metal band Algaion was to do vocals over this stuff, but eventually it came to be decided that we would work on another project which is in it's early stages.
Next Thomas Peake of Northampton's Krakatoa was going to lay the vocals down, but due to his busy schedule with school, band etc... Time didn't allow him to write lyrics.
Then I met Dakota Giordano at an event at a local music store and he played me his demo, I liked what I heard and asked him if he was interested.

After about 2 months of my procrastination I managed to get him the disc, 3 weeks later we were in Slaughterhouse Recording Studio and the tracks were all done in 4 hours. Elegy records picked up this recording titled "Glorficus Vis".

July 2011 it has been agreed that Mikael Anderson from Ceremonial Oath/Thy Primordial/In Dungeon With play Bass Guitar. This addition is large due to the fact that it brings another like minded individual to the band.

Despite us not being a "Touring" band I expect the members to have a level of commitment and someone such as Micke knows that being involved in such a project isn't just for a "hobby" or for "infamy", nor is it to show off musicianship, it is a way of life and simply some people just don't understand that. Changes will be made as needed, there is a definitive vision I have for the band and if someone doesn't share it, it simply will be time for them to move on as well.

This is extreme music and those chosen to be involved either are of a special nature or will adhere to the philosophy I envision or another band might be a better suit for them.
