In summer 2000, the band got interest of various labels and it was finally italian AvantGarde Music the label for which the band signed a 2-album deal in January 2001. The 3rd album of the band "Yearning For The Grotesque" was recorded in summer 2002 again at german Spacelab Studios and released in February 2003. After summer 2003, the band was pretty dissapointed with Avantgarde's work and decided to break their contractual obligations with them and started to search for a new label. 4 options were seriously considered and after meticulously thinking about it, AVULSED decided to sign a deal with slovakian label Metal Age Productions for the release of the band's 4th album. This decision might surprise everybody, since this label is the smallest one of the 4 ones considered, but at the same time it's the most involved one in the onderground and has a vast experience with over 50 titles released so far and a growing and very promising future in front!!

Regarding live performances, AVULSED has gained a strong reputation as one of the most aggressive & ferocious bands on stage. After more than 125 live appearances where the band has performed two full European Tours (w/SINISTER-'96 & w/INCANTATION-'97) and even crossed the Atlantic Ocean for three times to play 2 shows in Venezuela (Sept.'99), a 12 dates tour as headliner through central America (May'00) in countries like USA/California (2), Mexico (4), Guatemala (2), El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua & Costa Rica and to play on the 3rd Metal Meltdown Festival in USA/New Jersey (Apr.'01).

The band has played with such bands as NAPALM DEATH, DESTRUCTION, MANOWAR, CRADLE OF FILTH, SUFFOCATION, ENTOMBED, DISSECTION, VADER, CRYPTOPSY, IMPALED NAZARENE, DISGORGE (mex), NILE, VOMITORY, AMORPHIS, OPETH, CATHEDRAL, PRIMAL FEAR, YATTERING, INFAMY, DETERIOROT, CENOTAPH, INCANTATION, MONSTROSITY, MORTICIAN, GORGUTS, DIABOLIC, DYING FETUS, GORGASM, FLOTSAM & JETSAM, DEEDS OF FLESH, DERANGED, SIX FEET UNDER, JESUS MARTYR, BLOOD, ADRAMELECH, KRISIUN, ENSLAVED, CENTINEX, FLESHGRIND, MALIGNANCY, PESSIMIST, CATASTROPHIC, GOD FORBID, PAIN, CRUCIBLE, ANASARCA, STRATUZ, ABORTED, PANDEMIA and tons of others.

In January 2001, the band signed to italian AvantGarde Music for two albums. The 3rd album of the band "Yearning For The Grotesque" was recorded again in Germany at the Spacelab Studios in August 2002 and came out in February 2003. Despise of the great album and the excellent reviews everywhere, the band and the album didn't get any kind of attention from the label, so shortly after the release of it, the band decided to break the contract and search for a new label. Several offers came from labels like Crash, Code 666, Blackend & Metal Age amongst the most relevant ones, and it was this latest one who ended up signing AVULSED on their rooster.

The recordings for the band's 4th full length album "Gorespattered Suidice" were booked for August 2004, but just 4 months before this, long time drummer Furni decided to leave the band due to personal reasons, but an immediate replacement was founf in Riky, a very young but talented drummer that not only learnt all the new songs, but the old ones, being able to play his first gig with AVULSED just 40 days after he joined the band!! The album was recorded in Madrid at VRS Studios and the masters were sent to Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL/ ex-MORBID ANGEL) who mixed & mastered the album at his own Mana Recording studios in Florida. The result was awesome and this is without any doubt the most violent, intense and brutal AVULSED album to date. This album came out in January 2005 and the band is now ready to conquer not only Europe with some killer festival appearances, but also on a small tour through Japan, Australia & New Zealand scheduled for April 2005!!
