2003
After the exit of "Omnipressence Vendetta" group takes a breathing to finish establishing its musical style totally as much as the formation. In the middle of year Asmund and Hermod, and this time with greater participation of Cosmos, they begin to prepare what will be the new recording, single Ep of 4 subjects, where its individual and original mixture of black Norwegian metal with industrial parts will do that from now on are a group very to consider.

2002
This year could be catalogued like but important and the productive one of all the history of the group until the moment. They decide to change the name of the group by Avernum to avoid confusions with the American group of same name, also taking advantage of its new aesthetic and musical, but modern and contemporary direction. For that reason, Kjeldor decides to only follow like session musician since it such did not share tastes that Asmund and Cosmos. Thus, Asmund happened to occupy the position of Kjeldor in the voices, giving entered a new member like guitarist, Hermod, which becomes next to Asmund the main composer of its first Mcd "Omnipressence Vendetta", the its best one and but elaborated work to date.

2001
After not putting itself in agreement in the sound to follow with Avernus, Kjeldor decides to move away during some time of the group concentrating itself in its parallel project Mork Sorg, with which it records 1 CD. Still thus follows involved in the group although not of the same form that in the past. Asmund decides to follow ahead with the group and for it already counts with Cosmos as stable member of the group and begin to prepare material for a new recording.

2000
With the band reformed by both, they record promo "The Snow Covered The Woods", cradle in which had been his second demo, altering so much music as the title of the recording. The sound improves with respect to "Unholy Damnation" like its musical level enough and are able to create an own style, but both decide to follow with their respective parallel groups, which caused that Avernus did not even happen to be another project but with less relevance than its other bands.

1999
With the dissolution of its project next to the other ex-members of Avernus, Kjeldor enters to comprise of Mourning and at the same time it decides jointly with Asmund to return to Avernus like pair. For the bass position they decide to count on the collaboration of another ex-member of Avernus, Cosmos (Brujah) that touched as well next to Asmund in Thy Arrival.

1998
Reedited the demo "Unholy Damnation" after the name change to Avernus and the formation with the entrance of 4 musicians pertaining to other local bands is completed to record what demo under the title of "Through The Forgotten Woods" would be his second, first with the name of Avernus, but by musical problems as much as personal between Asmund and Morgana with the rest of the members, the group dissolves temporarily creating each one its parallel projects like Mourning or Thy Arrival.

1996
The group passes to be a pair with the entrance of Kjeldor like drummer, singer and keyboards, being Asmund like guitarist and bass. Without many means they decide to record his first demo titled "Unholy Damnation" composed by 3 songs.
