In december 2003 A.H. (synth, vocals) and Nomhoras (guitar, drums) formed the black metal project DARK CHORUS, releasing a limited demo tape and a full length album. After some changes in its members and instruments, the project has been renamed into CRAWLING DISEASE. The project has been split off after a while.

After various side-projects, such as a darkwave and an instrumental project, A.H. incoporates his feelings and thoughts into the melancholic black metal project ARCTHURIS and the album "Ruf des Zerfalls" (Call of Decay) in september of 2005. Just after its release, the work on the next part of ARCTHURIS begun. In the following four years, the songs were written, composed, recorded, re-recorded, aborted, deleted and ...forgotten. Now, the ultimate version of Children of Nibiru is finished, putting an end to its story.

Between 2003 and 2005, the first two releases of ARCTHURIS were born. First of all, the demo tape The Grim White Woman (limited to 10 copies, 5 titles on A- and B-side) were gave away, including the prototypes of songs (e.g. The Grim White Woman) which will be released some months later on the full length album Ruf des Zerfalls. This album reflects melancholic thoughts and atmospheres, accomponied by slow, distorted guitar, vocals and drums. Furthermore it's a german album (except of T.G.W.W.) with a hand-made booklet including essential lyrics and words.

After releasing the first album, ARCTHURIS' thirst which ignited yon full length record, was satisfied. The work on further songs begun some moons after R.D.Z., reflecting another kind of metal, leaving the rough black metal track behind. It took more than four years and hours of work to realize the theme of Children of Nibiru. Songs were deleted, re-recorded and ARCTHURIS has been put off for several times. Now, to fullfill what has to be fullfilled, to end the circle of its own, the prevailing creation of ARCTHURIS has been unleashed, for the glory of it's majesty; the children of nibiru!

The album ‚Children of Nibiru’ reflects the feelings, thoughts and points of view of sensations of several scenes of ARCTHURIS’ mind. After an introduction of an end time prophecy and the worship of this one, the record leads the listener through sceneries of religion, devotion, romance, twilight and fairy tales. ‘Children of Nibiru’ is a melodic black metal album with unusual lyrics and rhythms, which should take the listener by the hand to lead him/her into the world, outside of this world.
