DEC 2012 - Riccardo and Roberto started Aphonic Threnody.
JAN 2013 - Kostas, Abel and Marco joined the band.
JAN 2013 - Aphonic Threnody started the recordings of its first EP titled "First Funeral".
APR 2013 - Aphonic Threnody signed with Avantgarde Music for a CD & Special CD version of the first EP and with TERROR FROM HELL Records for the Vinyl version of the same.
JUN 2013 - The band started the recordings of its new album titled "When Death Comes" featuring Greg Chandler (Esoteric) and Mike Meacham (Loss).
AUG 2013 - Vinyl version is out! Avantgarde decides to print just one version of the album so the cover reserved to the special edition will be included in all the CDs.
OCT 2013 - Currently working on 2 split projects with German band Frowning and Georgian band Ennui.
