AikA is a solo project hailing from England in the underground of the metal scene, specialising in progressive metal of a darker nature. Don't mistake it as Black Metal. The project ideas started in 2007, with planning. AikA started recording in 2009, which has recieved praise by a certain circle. Plans for the first demo, Winter Eternity were interrupted by the lack of a vocalist. In the future I plan to make this more than a solo project. In the meantime AikA released a demo called "Instrumentals" which consisted of 3 songs ranging from 6 to 12 minutes each. This is a free download and is available in the blogs.

Winter Eternity has been cancelled with the change of AikA, and plans on the EP "Rebirth" has begun. AikA has taken a more atmospheric approach to their music, and music is being recorded and has been estimated for June 2010.
