Zoltán was born in Vác, Hungary on July 21, 1970. He's been interested in music since the age of 5 when he first heard his father play guitar. He became obsessed with the guitar from the age of 10. In the beginning, he had no structured musical training. His favourite bands at that time were especially Hungarian rock bands. He became familiar with the music of Iron Maiden in 1983-84. This motivated him to take up the bass guitar. He formed his first band, Jericho, in 1986. As a result of many changes in the band's line-up, in 1988 he changed to playing guitar. He also sang in the band, even though he doesn't consider himself a singer. As a guitarist, he cites As a guitarist, he cites Joe Satriani, Frank Gambale, Steve Morse and Adrian Smith as his biggest influences. More favotrite guitarists: Dimebag (R.I.P.), Steve Vai, Greg Howe, Richie Kotzen, John Petrucci, Chris Brooks, Steve Lukather, Neal Schon, Todo Duane, Allan Hollsworth, Szabó Sándor, Fredrik Thordental.

He generally tunes his guitars fairly normally, except his Samick, which is tuned one augmented fourth down. In the studio, however, he also tunes his guitar to suit the mood of a given song. These are usually very individual tuning arrangements, especially on acoustic guitar.

Zoltán is one of NEMESIS' principal songwriters. He arranges his idea with the help of a sequencer, and then shows them to the rest of the band.

When he's not playing music, he works as the director of GU^LA Records Ltd., organising everything relating to NEMESIS. According to his qualifications, he's a machine designer and motor vehicle technician.
