Greg Anderson was born in 1970. The first official band he played in was a punk-hardcore group known as False Liberty, formed in the 80's, where he performed vocals. He also worked with other hardcore/rock bands such as Galleon's Lap, Engine Kid, and Amenity.

Anderson later began to work with sludge/drone/stoner/doom metal bands since the mid-90's, starting with death/doom metal group
