Ernane Laranjo
Bizarre Bathtub Battle
Ernane Laranjo is a Brazilian musician from Belo Horizonte, known for his versatility and dedication to extreme and experimental metal. Between 2006 and 2020, he participated in several Doom and Gothic Metal bands, working as a vocalist and bassist, although these projects did not achieve significant national prominence.
Currently, he is a member of the band Soturn, formed in 2023, where he serves as bassist and backing vocalist. The EP Drowned (2024), released by the band, is a milestone in his career, blending classic death metal with progressive elements and technical arrangements, drawing comparisons to bands like Opeth. Additionally, Ernane leads the solo project Bizarre Bathtub Battle, an experimental endeavor that explores bold sonic fusions and allegorical narratives, as showcased in the debut single of the same name (2025).
His musical facet is characterized by a constant pursuit of innovation, a balance between technique and emotion.
