Список групп Atmospheric Black Church Ov Melkarth Sermon ov Steel

Here is what I don’t understand, why does every black metal/dark ambient make their tracks twenty minutes long? I know they are artists trying to show their creativity and sometimes it really works…..and sometimes it doesn’t. I will give credit to Church ov Melkarth for creating something that does have atmosphere and has an eerie vibe to it but…it…is…so…damn….looooooooong. The titletrack is one of the longest with haunting chants, droning guitar and distorted vocals but where is this going? There is no direction it just meanders on until I had to go the next track. The same thing for the second track and they continue with the same on the third track, “Church ov Apotheosis” although I will admit there was some different and a little more interesting sound effects along with more eerie chanting.

Although “Conjuration ov the Fire god” is probably the shortest track on here it still contains the same meaningless vocals that can’t be understood and sounds like something from a really bad horror movie. I’m talking like made for TV kind of horror movie. I’m probably missing something completely subliminal that will show up later in my dreams tonight but right now I just don’t get it.

I’m all for art and expressing yourself but OH MY SATAN have a point man! I honestly cannot recommend this to anyone unless you have an unlimited amount of time and just want to listen to some background noise then you can absolutely be my guest but don’t say I didn’t warn you.
